After 21 years as founder, MD and CEO of ISA Training Shirley Davis-Fox MBE has taken the difficult decision to retire from her role. During her tenure, ISA Training has twice been recognised by Estyn for sector leading practice, has regularly taken apprentices to Europe and the USA (a first for an independent WBL provider) has successfully staged the annual Salon Cymru competition and has pioneered ground breaking research into the impact and value of the hair and beauty sector to the Welsh economy.
In order to ensure future success for the organisation, ISA Training is pleased to announce that it was also formally acquired by Educ8 on the 21st December 2018 following a period of due diligence. ISA Training will continue to operate as a separate entity and will come under the Educ8 Training Group Ltd structure.
Educ8, a Times 100 Best Company to Work For organisation, has an outstanding reputation within the work based learning sector for quality delivery. The organisation was founded nearly 15 years ago and employs over 120 staff with an annual turnover of c. £7m. Educ8 also owns Port Talbot based Network Training Services Ltd and both businesses are 25% shareholders in the VSP consortium which is one of the largest providers of apprenticeships in Wales.
The acquisition provides a fantastic opportunity for two successful and like-minded providers to come together and the new relationship will no doubt provide a solid platform to deliver future plans for growth across the wellbeing sector.
There will not be any difference in our day to day activities, ISA will remain as ISA Training Ltd but if you would like to speak with someone about the acquisition please do not hesitate to contact us.
